MediPod® is part of the Biodose family of solutions created to manage medication more accurately. MediPod started life when a community pharmacist spotted how many people were unwittingly ignoring doctors’ instructions on how to take their medication. Intentional or not, taking medication at the wrong time or in the wrong quantity can have serious consequences. It can delay recovery, cause unwanted side-effects, or stand in the way of an accurate diagnosis.

MediPod’s creator discovered the root of the problem was nothing more complex than human error. Even when doctors, prescribing nurses and pharmacists give clear instructions on what medication to take and when, patients leave the surgery and succumb to the hectic of everyday life. Even the most well-intentioned adults fall victim to forgetfulness, a lack of time, or unclear dosage instructions on medication packaging.
